Frequently Asked Questions

 

1) Is Crafton Reunion only for a particular age group?

 

     A) Yes. You must be between 18 and 110 years old. No exceptions.

 

2) Where are the Reunions held?

 

     A) Wherever we get the Biggest Bang for your Buck. 2006 saw us hold our Icebreaker at the Green Tree Holiday Inn and our banquet at the K of C in Crafton. Naturally, we hold our Reunion Picnics in Crafton Park.

 

3) Do you charge to attend the Picnic?

    
A) No, it's both an effort to those who support our efforts by attending the Reunion and to the rest of the Community that might not be able to attend. Donations are gratefully accepted, to defray expenses.


4) Why doesn't CHSAA group join Crafton Reunion and have a single Annual All-Years Reunion?


     A) You're asking the wrong person.  LOL  They hold no Annual Scheduled events.  They are always welcome to join our Annual Reunion and our eGroup.


5) What does it cost to join Crafton Reunion?

     A) We have never charged anyone a fee to join, to view our website or join our eGroup. We only ask for minimal Contact Info so that we can help connect everyone and facilitate future reunions.

6) What kind of information do you need?


     A) Address, Phone and eMail. We'll never ask for personal info about you, your work history, marriage or your Family. If you wish to share that info, we have our eGroup available to you.  But our intention is to bring people together, not broadcast anyone's Life Story.


7) Do you charge either Classes or Faculty to join in your Annual Reunion?


     A) No. There are no charges to either. Individual Classes have no financial responsibilities for the Annual Reunions. We do it all, from the Hotel, to the Menu, to the Entertainment, to the Invitations, to the Nametags, to the Memorabilia. The only costs involved are the price of an Admission Ticket for individual Alumni and their Guests. The Faculty Members are OUR Guests.  If anyone asks that your Class contribute for a Reunion, it's not us.


8) Do you do anything besides the Annual All-Years Reunions?


    
A) We have Semi-Annual Mini-Reunions, in Florida, in the Fall and the Spring. We actively support Community Organizations, such as the C.V.F.D. and Crafton Celebrates.  We have a comprehensive website that lists those we've found (roster page) and those for whom we're still looking (mia page). We also honor those that are deceased (roster page), Veterans that gave the ultimate (fallen page), those that have made a difference in our Community (friends page). We also have a convenient eMail List that is open to all and accessible to the world.

9) How the heck do you fund such wide-ranging, year-round efforts?

 

     A) Via the cost of those Admission Tickets and individual donations. As long as we don't LOSE money, our Treasurer is happy. :)

10) I thought you had 10 questions?

 

     A) We'll look to YOU to ask the "last one." There may be something that we've overlooked or taken for granted.  Your Questions (and their answers) will be added below, when they are submitted.  Just send them to us via email.
